U.S. Marshals detain 23-year-old Portland shooting suspect in Virginia

The U.S. Marshals have arrested 23-year-old Jaylen Harris in relation to a deadly shooting in Portland, Oregon. The arrest comes after the Homicide Unit identified the Virginia area as a potential location for Harris. The suspect is set to be extradited to Oregon to face his charges. The shooting occurred on Sunday, December 28, 2025.
