Man sentenced to 56 years to life for killing 3 men in Las Vegas shootings

Alonzo James Brown, a 22-year-old man who pleaded guilty to murdering three men in Las Vegas between January 2022 and June 2022, has been sentenced to 56 years to life in prison. Brown was charged with three counts of first-degree murder in connection with the killings of Tevin Alhashemi, Paul Viana, and Josue Chaparro-Montalo. The case initially went cold but went cold when Brown was found with two weapons in possession. His public defender, Virginia Eichacker, stated that Brown had no previous criminal history before the first killing and had been experiencing delusions and paranoia.
