Suspect in White House Correspondents' Dinner Incident Identified as 31-Year-Old Teacher

The suspect in the White House Correspondents' Dinner shooting incident has been identified as 31-year-old California teacher Cole Tomas Allen. He was taken into custody after injuring a Secret Service agent. Allen's LinkedIn profile describes him as a "mechanical engineer and computer scientist by degree, independent game developer by experience, teacher by birth" He obtained a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering in 2017 from the California Institute of Technology, followed by a master's degree from California state University at Dominguez Hills. The suspect is facing two counts of using a firearm during a crime of violence and assault on federal officers.
