The National Weather Service is predicting a significant shift in weather conditions in the Philadelphia area, with thunderstorms predicted as early as Monday night and possibly even more rain possible every day for the coming week. The week will begin with mild weather conditions, with gusts of up to 25mph predicted for Monday and Tuesday. The predicted high for Tuesday is 80, while Wednesday could reach 83. The strongest storms and best chance for thunderstorms are expected to occur on Wednesday, with steady showers likely throughout the afternoon and thunderstorms possible in the evening hours. Temperatures will rise sharply on Thursday as cool air hits the region, with temperatures expected to drop from Wednesday's mid-80s to Thursday's high 40s. The National Weather Services predicts that a warming trend will continue through mid-week as a warm front lifts northward across the region.
