Mexico's West Coast remains a major travel destination for Hollywood, with numerous new resorts opening and renovated in the Punta Mita and Costalegre areas. The first Park Hyatt in Mexico at the Cabo del Sol development has opened, with upcoming openings include the first Soho House in Cabo and the anticipated Amanvari from Aman. Global brands are also adding elite services to existing concepts, such as Zadún, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve. All major hospitality brands operating in the area now offer a community-based residential component. Despite a brief outbreak of violence in Puerto Vallarta earlier this year, no international tourists were harmed.
