The claim was made by Wynton Hall, the social media director for conservative outlet Breitbart News, who published a book on the same day that Gemini accused Cotton of violating its hate speech and harassment policies. However, Google has denied these allegations. A spokesperson for Gemini stated that the company works hard to mitigate bias through extensive testing and surveys show that Gemini is among the least biased AI models in the industry. The Hoover Institution, a conservative think tank, found last year that Gemini was perceived as the least-biased AI system in a study of 24 models.
