Bitcoin failed to break $80,000 on Wednesday and has since fallen back to under $78,000. The 24-hour low was set on Thursday morning. Bitcoin traded at $77,794 over 24 hours after peaking at $79,388. The only major positive on 24 hours was Ether's 0.7% to $2,344, XRP's 1.7%, Solana dropped 1.5%. The US maintained its naval blockade on ships going to and from Iranian ports, while Iran kept the Strait closed to almost all international traffic. Despite this, Bitpanda CEO Lukas Enzersdorfer-Konrad argued that the push towards $80konsure indicates digital asset industry maturity and resilience backed by institutional participation and clearer regulatory frameworks.
