6 Billionaires From NJ Make New List Of World's Richest

Six of the six New Jersey billionaires on Forbes' Richest People list have made it, with billionaire Elon Musk topping the list with a fortune of $839 billion. Other notable figures on the list include co-founder of Two Sigma, a quantitative investing powerhouse with $60 billion in assets under management. The rise of wealth tied to artificial intelligence is also a prominent theme in the list, with at least 86 members of the so-called "centibillionaire club" (those worth $100 billion or more) owing their fortunes in significant part to AI enterprises. U.S. billionaires dominated the ranking with 989, followed by China (including Hong Kong) and India in third place.
