The city of Atlanta has unveiled its largest public art installation, "Wild Seed, Wild Flower," a 10,000-square-foot mural that spans roughly 10,300 square feet. The installation is part of Atlanta’s Bridges, Walls, and Tunnels program, which aims to transform highly visible spaces with public art. The artist behind the mural, Charity Hamidullah, said the piece reflects themes of growth, connection and unity and is deeply personal. The mayor, Andre Dickens, joined local leaders and artists to unveil the mural at the Windsor and Rawson intersection near the intersection of Windsor andRawson streets. The project is part part of a broader investment in southwest Atlanta neighborhoods, which have historically faced underinvestment.
