Volunteer sign-ups are open for Rebuilding Together Silicon Valley’s National Rebuilding Day on April 25 and May 1. Volunteers will help with home maintenance and repairs for low-income residents and local nonprofits. Eight area high school students from Silicon Valley Career Technical Education (SVCTE) received top scores to qualify for the SkillsUSA California State Leadership and Skills Conference, where they will compete against five other regions of California. The winners will then attend the prestigious SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference in Atlanta.
