A Bronx driver, MD Abdul Shomuz, has been charged with failure to yield to a pedestrian in a Manhattan crash that killed "Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" actress Wenne Alton Davis. Davis was crossing Broadway at W. 53rd street when she was hit by a black 2023 Cadillac XTC and died from severe head and body injuries. The driver remained at the scene and was not injured. The actress, who went by her stage name, played a cop in Amazon Prime's Emmy-Award-winning comedy series, had previously worked full-time as an airline agent.
