Bath and North East Somerset social care a council 'priority'

Bath and North East Somerset Council leader, Kevin Guy, has stated that supporting the most vulnerable children is his priority despite plans to restructure its social care team. The council plans to invest £9.6m into children's services and adult social care to meet growing demand. However, over 100 social care employees have been told their roles will be eliminated and must apply for new jobs.
