Vanderburgh County Fire Department Deputy Chief David Edmondson passed away from cancer earlier in the month. A memorial service was held at Blue Grass Church in Evansville and included mementos including a bible, a rose, and a special flag given by the Indiana State Fire Marshal. The service also included a sign off ceremony for Edmundson, thanking him for his service. The department plans to keep his philosophy alive and continue its work ethic.
