Maddox Patt, now 27, was diagnosed with plaque psoriasis at age 12 and experienced an emotional toll as a teenager. The chronic autoimmune condition, which causes thick patches on the skin, began to develop when Patt was nicked by a rock and spread throughout his life. Patt, who now works as an account manager, often hid his condition to hide it, which also affected his fashion choices.
