Jen Shah Reveals What Led Her to Plead Guilty To Conspiracy to Commit Wire Fraud

Jen Shah, former "Real Housewives of Salt Lake City" star, has publicly addressed her involvement in a telemarketing fraud scheme in which she allegedly defrauded hundreds of people out of money starting in 2012. Shah was arrested in 2021 in connection with her alleged involvement in the scheme and was charged with one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and another count of conspiring to commit money laundering. She initially denied any wrongdoing, but pleaded guilty in 2022 and was sentenced to 78 months in federal prison and five years of supervision upon her release. As part of her plea deal, Shah was ordered to forfeit $6.5 million and pay restitution up to $9.5 billion. She is currently serving the rest of her sentence under home confinement.
