Despite President Trump claiming that the war with Iran is over, the U.S. is sending thousands more soldiers to the Middle East. About 6,000 troops are being sent on the USS George H.W. Bush aircraft carrier and about 4,200 troops from the Boxer Amphibious Ready Group and 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit. Negotiations between Iran and the US are set to resume this week after reaching an impasse over nuclear enrichment. However, a new blockade on Iranian ports may not help the situation.
