President Trump's super PAC, which holds one of the largest political bank accounts in history, is set to begin unloading its massive war chest around Memorial Day, giving a significant boost to Republicans in the upcoming midterm election. The president's war chest includes $300 million in the pro-Trump MAGA Inc. super PAC and several hundred million in Securing American Greatness, an allied nonprofit that does not have to disclose its donations. Despite a poor performance in the polls and projections that the GOP could lose the House majority in November, top Republicans are optimistic in their financial might. They are relying on a motivated Trump, who is eager to prevent a Democratic takeover of the House. Some Republicans worry that Trump might not use much of his super PAC's funds for the election, or delay it until late in the campaign.
