The Plymouth Duster, a compact two-door muscle car built on the Valiant platform, was a high-performance vehicle that competed with the AMC Hornet and Ford Maverick. The Duster was particularly popular with its high-powered 340-vehicle small-block V8, which produced an estimated 275 horsepower.
