British pop icon Britney Spears, who had been arrested for DUI, was seen smoking a cigarette near a gas station while someone else filled up the tank. The California Code of Ethics prohibits smoking near flammable liquids and local ordinances often enforce a 25-foot no-smoking zone. This is not the first time Spears has made an appearance since her arrest in March.
