Arty Froushan, a half-English, half Iranian actor, is performing in Rupert Goold’s American Psycho revival at the Almeida Theatre in London. The show, which first opened in 2013, features music and lyrics by Duncan Sheik and a book by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, with music for the stage and lyrics. The half-Iranian actor, known for his roles in Daredevil, House of the Dragon, and Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale, is now putting his own spin on the iconic serial killer Patrick Bateman. Frushan shares his experiences with the character and the director, Goold, encouraged him to find a common ground with Bateman, a role he felt with. The nearly three-hour, meticulously choreographed show is set to close on Mar. 21.
