In the 2026 Annual Town Election, Wayne Dooley and Wayne Spritz were the winners with 1,064 votes and 1,008 votes respectively, respectively. Current Select Board members Doug Thompson and David Grishman did not seek re-election. Despite the lack of competition, Ryan Hale was elected as town moderator and Katie Arrington and Martha Cesarz were elected to the School Committee. Dooley emphasized economic development as an essential issue to maintain services without increasing taxpayers' burden.
