Juvenile airlifted after being hit by car in Miami Gardens

A juvenile has been airlifted to the hospital after being hit by a car in a Miami Gardens neighborhood, around 8 a.m. The incident occurred near the intersection of Northwest 188th Street and 12th Avenue. The car apparently veered off the road and into the sidewalk. The victim is believed to be a middle school student.
