The proposed budget for 2026-27 includes a record $12.4 billion in aid to the state's 574 public school districts, including those in Red Bank and Shrewsbury. Most aid increases were capped at 6% for the 2025-26 school year. The state's Department of Education has released its aid figures for each district.
