Closing arguments are set to take place in the murder trial of 35-year-old Guy Rivera, accused of shooting and killing NYPD Officer Jonathan Diller two years ago in Queens. The defendant has pleaded not guilty to charges including murder, attempted murder, and criminal possession of a weapon. The police union is hoping justice is served soon for Diller, who was posthumously promoted to detective. The driver of the car involved in the shooting is also facing weapon charges.
