Nicolas Roy's overtime goal gave Colorado a 2-1 victory over the Los Angeles Kings, giving the Avalanche a commanding 2-0 lead in a Western Conference first-round playoff series. Gabriel Landeskog scored the tying goal late in the game, while Scott Wedgewood made 24 saves for the Avalanche. Game 3 will take place in Los Angeles on Thursday night. The Kings' goal was scored by Arturo Panarin on a power play. The game was halted for 19 minutes as fans broke the glass behind the Kings' bench, causing shards to fall on Kings interim coach D.J. Smith.
