UN report says Israeli airstrike on Iran prison is a war crime

A report by Sara Hossain, chair of the Independent International Fact-Finding Mission on Iran, has labelled an Israeli airstrike on an Iranian prison as a war crime. The report, based on interviews with victims and witnesses, also revealed that 80 people including one child and eight women were killed. Israel has been disengaged from the Human Rights Council, which documents abuses and conducts investigations. Iran's ambassador, Ali Bahreini, called for condemnation of the U.S.-Israeli strikes, which he claimed had killed over 1,300 people in Iran.
