French actor Tahar Rahim is currently preparing for the U.S. release of the Cannes Competition title Alpha and the launch of his latest TV series, Prisoners on Sky. The series is created by Matt Charman and directed by Otto Bathurst, and sees Rahim take his first co-executive producer credit with Charman. Rahim's throughline is to approach each role from a place of truth, stating that his work is inspired by truth and reality. He also highlighted the importance of having a seat at the artistic table in his work. For Prisoners, he plays a dangerous convict named Tibor Stone who is played by Izuka Hoyle.
