The National Weather Service (NWS Melbourne) has predicted a 20-degree drop in Central Florida early next week, potentially impacting Spring Break temperatures. The front is likely to pass through late Monday or early Tuesday, with colder air quickly filtering in behind it. Temperatures are expected to fall from the mid 80s to the low 60s to low 70s on Monday. However, more unsettled weather may arrive over the weekend. Forecasters predict scattered showers and storms on Saturday, but no excessive rainfall is expected. The weather also presents a high risk of dangerous rip currents on Atlantic beaches.
