Snow is causing treacherous conditions on mountain passes and in the Cascade foothills. Westbound Interstate 90 is closed due to multiple crashes and chains are required on eastbound I-90 for all vehicles. Both directions of State Route 410 are closed at Mud Mountain Road near Greenwater due to snowfall. The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSD) is sending out snowplow crews to the scene, and there is no estimated time when SR 410 will reopen.
