Lawyer and activist Kerry Kennedy, the sister of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., praised Rep. Jamie Raskin for protecting her during a live shooter incident at the White House Correspondents Association dinner. The incident occurred at the Washington Hilton Hotel during the event, which was evacuated with first lady Melania Trump, Vice President Vance and FBI Director Kash Patel. The alleged shooter, 31-year-old Cole Allen, was armed with a shotgun, a handgun and multiple knives.
