The Alex Caruso's 3-point shooting improved significantly in the first round of the NBA playoffs, significantly, compared to the regular season. Despite a first-round sweep against Phoenix, the Thunder is expected to enter Round 2 of the playoffs more rested due to Jalen Williams' hamstring injury, which has led to a decrease in his stock. The Thunder had the league's seventh-best offense in the regular year with a 117.6 points per 100 possessions, while the Suns had the No. 1 offense in their regular season with a 121.2 offensive rating. Despite this, the team's defense remains fearsome, with the Thunder's 7.2-point margin over the Celtics' 2-2 offense margin over their own. The team's overall score in the series was an impressive 34.3 points per cent. Despite injuries to Williams and a lack of defensive ability, the league still has a strong playoff defense. Carruso's performance in Round 1 was a surprise, with his 3-3% from 3 in his game against Phoenix.
