American Airlines has unveiled a World Cup-themed plane at Miami International Airport to celebrate the World Cup, a first for the airline's fleet. The event was held at the airport to celebrate American Airlines' role as the official North American supplier for the global soccer event. However, ticket prices for the upcoming World Cup game are already rising, with FIFA recently raising the cost of its highest-tier seats for the future championship game to $11,000, an increase of over $1,300 since December’s Tournament Draw. Tickets for the games at Hard Rock Stadium are expected to cost several hundred dollars, with some resale tickets surpassing $1000. Despite criticism, FIFA maintains that the current ticket sales phase remains open until the start of the tournament in June.
