Bad Bunny Wins 'Un Verano Sin Ti' Copyright Case After Producer Abandons Lawsuit

Bad Bunny has won a copyright case over his Un Verano Sin Ti track, "Enséñame a Bailar," after Nigerian producer Dera (Ezeani Chidera Godfrey) appeared to abandon the lawsuit. The judge overseeing the case dismissed the suit after Godfrey missed a March 6 filing to continue the case. The court stated that Godfrey had abandoned the case and that prolonging the proceedings would prejudice the defendants. The dispute over the song dates back to 2023, when founder Eazi accused Bad Bunny of copyright infringement.
