Mickey Rourke Defaults in Eviction Case, Lease on Los Angeles Home Canceled (Exclusive)

A California court has entered a judgment in actor Mickey Rourke's eviction case against landlord Eric T. Goldie, stating that Rourke did not respond to the complaint or defend himself within the required time under California law. As a result, Goldie was granted possession of the property and the rental agreement has been canceled and the lease forfeited. This comes after Rourke was previously served with a notice demanding he pay $59,100 in back rent or vacate the home within three days. A GoFundMe campaign was launched to support Rourke, but Rourke claimed he had no knowledge of the campaign.
