Federal officials are standing firm in disputing the account of an Illinois woman, Sunny Naqvi, who claimed she was held at a Chicago airport for more than 24 hours before being transferred to immigration detention centers in Illinois and Wisconsin. The Department of Homeland Security posted two images from a secure customs area at O'Hare International Airport, which it claimed were taken from a social media post, disproving Naqv's claim. The post also stated that surveillance footage from the airport shows Naquvi entering secondary inspection at 10:46 am., and leaving secondary to the public area at 11:42 am. However, a family friend and Cook County Commissioner Kevin Morrison, who claims to have seen Naqqvi at various locations within the timeline, stated that there is no record of her at the jail.
