An instructor at Pikes Peak State College, Jason Gunderson, is facing over 70 counts of sexual assault on a minor student. The investigation began on February 17 after a report was received regarding inappropriate contact between a student and Gunderson. During the investigation, police found that Gunderson used his position as a professor to manipulate the student into a sexual relationship, promising an internship, special attention, and high grades. He was arrested last Friday and is being held on 77 counts of Sexual Assault on a Child.
