Sen. Warner announces death of eldest daughter from Type 1 diabetes

Virginia Senator Mark Warner has announced the death of his daughter, Madison, after a decades-long battle with Type 1 diabetes and other health issues. The senator has been a champion of those suffering from diabetes throughout his career and has advocated for inclusion of the PREVENT DIABanish Act to expand access to virtual health care services and the reauthorization of the Special Diabetes Program for Type 1 Diabetes in government spending bills.
