Apple will reportedly allow other AI chatbots to plug into Siri

Apple's iOS 27 update will allow users to choose the AI chatbot they want to connect with, similar to how Siri already works with OpenAI's ChatGPT. The system, reportedly named "Extensions," will allow for users to enable or disable chatbots to connect. The integration will also work with the standalone app Apple reportedly plans for its AI-powered version of Siri.
