The yet-unnamed baby ocelot was born at Elmwood Park Zoo in Norristown, Pennsylvania on February 1. The birth is described as a major conservation and animal care milestone. The kitten was born as part of the zoo's Species Survival Plan and is the child of two resident ocelots, Rio and Mateo. The name of the kitten will be determined in the coming days.
