Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-Oklahoma) has acknowledged that he took a classified trip to an undisclosed location in 2016 while serving in Congress. This is the first acknowledgment that Mullin was involved in a secret foreign assignment. He also mentioned the possibility of traveling overseas for "mission work" before he was elected to Congress. However, he did not need to report details of the trip to the committee as it was official business.
