However, she defended Trump against ex-counterterrorism official Joe Kent's claim. Eisen responded by saying that it's "disrespectful and wrong to assume that the United States and the president, especially this president, does not act on his own agency" Hostin responded by asking, "If that helps you sleep at night, that's great!"
