Boat overturns on Tennessee River; one injured

A boat overturned on the Tennessee River near mile marker 306, leading to a multi-agency response from Morgan County emergency crews. The accident occurred near the GE plant on the south side of the river. The injured person was transported to the shore and taken to Decatur Fire and Rescue, Decatur Morgan Ambulance and the Alabama State Trooper Marine Patrol Division. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
