The three-vehicle crash occurred on Jericho Turnpike near Brooks Avenue in West Hills, New Jersey, on March 22. Police say 18-year-old Richard Bello lost control of his 2006 Cadillac and veered into westbound traffic, causing it to hit a Honda CR-V head-on, which was driven by Alisa Globuschutz, 69, who sustained serious physical injuries. Both Bello and a 17-year old passenger in the Cadillac were transported to Huntington Hospital for treatment. The Honda CRV also hit a 2018 Honda Accord, driven by Shreya Rana, who was not injured. All three vehicles were impounded for safety checks.
