Fulham defender Issa Diop's international debut for Morocco came amidst controversy over Senegal's loss of the Africa Cup of Nations title and the recognition of Morocco as winners. Diop, whose father is Senegalese and mother from Morocco, had previously rejected offers from both countries to play for them.
