Iran-Backed Hackers Take Credit For Massive Attack On U.S. Medical Device Maker

The Michigan-based medical device manufacturer, Sunde, has reported a massive cyber attack on its systems, causing disruptions and limitations to access to some systems. The logo of an Iran-linked hacking group, Handala, appeared on the company's login pages. The company has no indication of ransomware or malware and believes the incident is contained. The attack was reportedly in response to a strike on a school in southern Iran that killed an estimated 150 students. There are fears that Iran may retaliate against U.S. or Israeli entities after the two countries began airstrikes against it.
