Centrist Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) has admitted that he is not the most popular among his Senate Democratic caucus despite his successful flip of Sen. Pat Toomey's seat in Pennsylvania, allowing Senate Democrats to have a majority in 2023 and 2024. This admission came after Fettermen told his party members to get over their "Trump Derangement Syndrome" (TDS) and agree to build a White House ballroom after a gunman attempted to storm the White House Correspondents' Association dinner. He also expressed admiration for fellow Democrats' continued criticism of President Trump's ongoing military strikes against Iran, questioning whether some progressives are pro-Iranian.
