2027 Mercedes-Benz GLS-Class Adds Flat-Plane V-8 Power

The 2027 Mercedes-Benz GLS-Class is receiving a mid-cycle facelift that includes numerous powertrain upgrades and high-tech features. The top-tier GLS580 is powered by a flat-plane-crushing 4.0-spirited V-8 engine, which can reach 530 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque. The base GLS450 model features a 3.5-powered 3.8-powered inline-six and a standard air suspension system. The vehicle also features a Superscreen layout and a supercharged MBUX virtual assistant.
