Thousands of Americans are attempting to leave the Middle East amid ongoing conflict with Iran, where multiple countries have closed their airspace since Saturday, leading to disruptions in travel. The U.S. State Department is mobilising to send charter and military planes to evacuate Americans from the region. The department has urged U.N. citizens in Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar to register online and be ready.
