Pittsburgh has voted unanimously to pass a law that prevents local police and city government employees from cooperating with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agencies. This follows a vote by nine members of the Pittsburgh City Council and none voted against it. The bill prevents city employees from asking about a person's immigration or citizenship status, or cooperating with federal immigration agents. This comes ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft in Pittsburgh. The Supreme Court overturned Steve Bannon's contempt of Congress conviction, effectively erasing lower court rulings and sending the case back to the district court. A recent survey by The Harris Poll found that many Americans believe the American dream of homeownership is slipping further away. Lady Gaga canceled a show in Quebec due to an upper respiratory infection.
