Pittsburgh has voted unanimously to pass a law that prevents local police and city government employees from cooperating with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agencies. This follows a vote by nine members of the Pittsburgh City Council and none voted against it. The bill prevents city employees from asking about a person's immigration or citizenship status, or cooperating with federal immigration agents. This comes ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft in Pittsburgh.
