Queen Latifah, DJ Jazzy Jeff among Welcome America headliners

The Wawa Welcome America Festival, Philadelphia's largest summer party, features performances from Queen Latifah, DJ Jazzy Jeff, and other well-known Philly natives. The festival stretches over 16 days, with events leading to the July 4th concert and fireworks show on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Highlights include free movie and museum days, a three-day celebration in Philly's Centennial District, a hot air balloon experience, food trucks and performances, a life-sized Liberty Bell replica, exhibits and workshops. The Juneteenth Block Party is a daylong celebration featuring live music, vendors, dance performances, and family-friendly activities at the African American Museum. The Philadelphia Orchestra will perform a free concert led by guest conductor Carolyn Kuan at the Kimmel Center on June 30.
